Vote for Fiamma Fumana! They’re internationally acclaimed for their wildly innovative treatment of Northern Italy’s folk traditions. Ironically, in order to convince MTV Italia’s programmers that their video single from the brand new album, Onda is worthy of airplay in their own country, they need voting support from fans and viewers. Not that they’re doing too bad. At last count on the program, Total Request Live, they were fending off competition from Robbie Williams, Pussycat Dolls and Mary J. Blige. But seriously, why does great music have to be subjected to petty competition?
